Eric and Coriana on a roll

Saturday, 28 May 2011

Fabulous form; Eric and Coriana win in Rome. Photo by Bruno De Lorenzo.Eric Lamaze is on a roll, and today he won the 1.50 class in Rome on the nine year old mare Coriana van Klapscheut (Darco x Heartbreaker). The pair also won in La Baule two weeks ago as well as in Valencia, and continued their fabulous form in Saturday’s Trofeo Marine and Aviation in Italy’s capital. Lamaze was double clear and had a time of 36.45 in the jump-off, which was a little faster than Ludger Beerbaum who was second on Satisfaction FRH (Stakkato x Calypso II). Roberto Arioldi continued the Italian’s good run, and was third on Loro Piana Lady Chanu.

The 1.40 speed class of the day went to another Arioldi. This time it was Francesca who made her mark on Loro Piana Kelly De Fussigny (Col Canto x Laeken).
