Saturday, 27 July 2013

Daniel Etter and Constanzia 3 - here seen in Oliva Nova earlier this year. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson. At the CSI3* show in Ascona, Daniel Etter took home the biggest class of the day aboard Constanzia 3 (Cardino x Königspark XX). Not only that, his wife Marie Pellegrin-Etter made sure to make it a good day for the family by ending second in this 1.50 class – riding Admirable (A Jungle Prince x Rhytmo) and being a little over one second behind her husband on the time. Third place went to Francesco Franco on Cassandra (Cashandcarry x Calato).

In Dinard the feature class of the day was the three star Derby, which was won by the Irish derby specialist Shane Breen on Ominerale Courcelle (by Kannan). Breen had four faults, but a much faster time than runner-up and home rider Florian Angot on Made In Semilly (by Diamant de Semilly). Third was Nina Fagerström on Ruskaya Semilly (by Diamat de Semilly), also she on four faults and a second behind Angot.
