Faces and feelings in the Rolex Grand Prix in Geneva

Monday, 16 December 2013
It was a happy Sophie Mottu Morel and Alban Poudret who handed over the prizes to the winner Steve Guerdat. Photos by World of Showjumping.

Steve was not too convinced that his lead would last - leaving the ring, he looked more worried than happy.

But in the end, his performance was more than good enough and Steve could celebrate a great victory on home soil.
Off course - all the cameras were on the winner afterwards.
Gilbert de Roock was more than willing to help Tiffany Foster and Eric Lamaze's horses with jumping - here's 'Team Foster' ringside watching yet another strong performance from the Canadian rider.
And this is probably how close Eric Lamaze thinks that Tiffany was to a clear round.
Another one who was close to a clear was Aymeric de Ponnat, here's Armitages Boy's groom watching ringside.
You're suppose to smile Gerco - you were clear!
Celebrations as Hansi goes clear on Embassy II!
Philippe Guerdat was busy with no less than three French riders in the jump-off.
Luck was not on Daniel Blumann's side in the Grand Prix and one pole fell to the ground.
Genevieve Megret watches Penelope Leprevost ride her horse Nayana.
Everybody was watching the Grand Prix...
A big smile from Kevin as he goes clear on For Joy van't Zorgvliet HDC to his owner Emmanuèle Perron-Pette.
Fabien waiting for Patrice Delaveau and Lacrimoso HDC to start their round.
Michael Whitaker leaving the ring on a four penaly score - just another day at the office for the living legend.
A happy Simon Delestre after his third place.
All smiles from Gerco and Doda at the prize giving as number four and five in the Rolex Grand Prix.
