Wednesday, 07 December 2011

Flexible with Rich Fellers in Falsterbo. Will his full sister be just as good? Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson/worldofshowjumping.com.

Flexible’s full sister Flexing – a 12 year old by Cruising x Safari – will in the future join her brother on the American circuit. The mare has up until recently been competed in Ireland, but has according to chronofhorse.com been sold to Claudia and Lloyd Thorsrud and will in the future be seen under Ireland’s Damien Gardiner. The 43 year old Damien rode for Ireland at the Olympics in Atlanta in 1996.

Flexing is bred by Irish showjumper Edward Doyle, who also bred Flexible and his half-brother, Samgemgee. Doyle’s son has been competing the mare in Ireland and in May they were second in a junior grand prix in Reims, France.
