Friday highlights from Geneva in images

Saturday, 14 December 2013
There is a reason why this horse is on everyone's lips; Armitages Boy continues to impress - yesterday he was fifth with Aymeric de Ponnat in the Grand Prix. All photos by World of Showjumping.
A horse we for sure will see more of; Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum rode the For Pleasure-daughter Atlanta in the 1.45 speed class - a very nice horse that is a relatively new ride for Meredith.
Carlo 273 always melts our hearts.
Daniel Blumann impressed yesterday with only a time penalty in the Grand Prix and by ending second in the 1.45.
As did Cameron Hanley and Antello Z who kept up their good form from Paris - to end 6th in the Grand Prix.
Another one with a good show in Geneva is Tiffany Foster - who keeps on riding amazing. Yesterday she had one rail down in the Grand Prix jump-off on Verdi III.
Gregory Wathelet has been on fire, already winning to classes - here seen on Conrad in yesterday's Grand Prix where the pair had one down in the jump-off.
Athina Onassis de Miranda had a great round on AD Camille Z, but had to see one pole fall to the ground in the Grand Prix.
Her husband Doda was clear on AD Rahmannshof's Bogeno in the first round though, but unfortunately had a bad jump on the Rolex oxer in the jump-off to end 18th.
There were a lot of For Pleasure's out jumping yesterday, and here's one of the most interesting ones - Calgot Pleasure out of Dermott Lennon's former World Champion Liscalgot.
The stunning Cornet D'Amour finished fourth with Daniel Deusser in the Grand Prix.
 Another stunner: Zinedine!
Penelope Leprevost checks out her clear Grand Prix round on the huge Rolex screen.
As did LB Con Grazia CH.
Marlon Zanotelli and Ode des Roches ended third in the 1.45 speed class.
 The lovely Plot Blue.
Long time - no see; Reveur de Hurtebise HDC was finally back in the ring with Kevin Staut.
 Merry Christmas from Geneva!
