The CSi3* show in Dortmund is taking place this weekend with many big names competing such as Ludger Beerbaum, Denis Lynch, Albert Zoer, Janne-Friedrike Meyer, Beat Mändli, Angelica Augustsson and Jos Lansink.
The biggest class today - the 1.50 Preis von Nordrhein-Westfalen was won by Rolf Moorman and Acorte (Acorado x Argelith Stakkato after a brilliant jump-off. Out of 56 combinations 16 managed a clear first round which made the jump-off interesting with many poles down. Only top four managed double clears. In addition to Moorman and Acorte these four were Gerco Schröder riding Eurocommerce California (Corland x Ramiro), Marc Houtzager and Sterrehof’s Voltaire (Now or Never x Accord II) and Janne-Friedrike Meyer aboard Luke McDonald (by Lord Incipit).
The 1.45 speed class earlier in the day was won by Angelica Augustsson and Walter (Werenfels x Donator). Brazilian rider Luiz Francisco de Azvedo and Cashmire D were second with Sarah Nagel-tornau in third place riding Baquita (Baloubet du Rouet Quito de Baussy). The startlist for this class counted as much as 62 riders and horses. Out of thses riders 17 managed a clear round.
The 1.40 class had a German winner in Markus Renzel and Chico (Cordobes I x Monsieur) with Katharina Offel/Otello Star (Quick Star x Sable Rose) on second and Michaek Symmangk/Pikeur Cleveland (Caretino x Alcatraz) on third.
