Friday in Vienna in Images

Friday, 21 September 2012

Once again the Global Champions Tour has managed to have one of their shows in an amazing setting. All photos by Jenny Abrahamsson.

There were a lot of famous faces in the CSI2* 1,40 class on Friday. Here is Hugo Simon with the fantastic CT, a 8 year old by Casall x Claudio. Hugo was second in the class, but had earlier on already promissed to win on Saturday. Marco Kutscher's old ride Satisfaction competed with his new rider Emil Hallundbæk.Julia Kayser rode on home soil aboard Sterrehof's Waterloo and they ended third. Rosalia La Silla, who was fifth at the Olympics in London with Alberto Michan, is now ridden by Mohammed Bassem. Mohammed and Rosalia won the 2* 1.40 class. In the afternoon it was time for the CSI5* class. It must feel like flying for Marcus Ehning when Cornado NRW jumps like this over the 1,45 m course. Luciana Diniz with her Bluebuster ended in sixth place. Rodrigo Pessoa and HH Rebozo seemed to be in great form!Clever Girl, ridden by Piergiorgio Bucci, jumped amazing and here she's stretching over the triple bar. Pius Schwizer and Nobless M waiting for their turn.Juvina jumped Stefanie Bistan out of the saddle on the last fence, but Stefanie managed to climb back up in the saddle again!Great to see Thomas Frühmann and his The Sixth Sense competing! The statues in Vienna are watching over the riders and horses.
