It was Edwina Tops-Alexander who took home the two star Grand Prix in Nice on Sunday. Two clear rounds, and a fast time in the jump-off gave Edwina and Mel d’Argences (Quick Star x Scherif d’Elle) the win. Runner-up was Spanish rider Blai Capdevila Barredo on Ubine Jambo M (Gran Corrado x Hamlet), who was just 0.05 second behind the Australian rider. At the Sunshine Tour it was Henk van de Pol that won the three star Grand Prix. On the lovely Chesterfield the Dutch rider was double clear and had a time of 44.99 second in the jump-off. Not far behind was Michel Robert on Kaloe des Perrieres on 45.93 seconds. Third place went to the fast British rider Laura Renwick on Oz de Breve. Click here for full results.
At the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour in Oliva, it was German rider Rene Tebbel that won the Grand Prix. The victory came aboard Light On. The pair produced one of the three double clears in the class, but was fractions faster than runner-up Deborah Lazzarotto from Switzerland on Alpaga DB. Jillian Terceira was third on Bernadien van Westu. The fastest round in the jump-off belonged to Marc Bettinger, who unfortunately had four faults. Click here for full results.
