The three star Grand Prix at the Sunshine Tour went to Manuel Fernández and Bonaire(Baloubet du Rouet x Carthago). The home rider had one of only two double clear rounds in the class, and was 0.21 seconds faster than British rider Simon Crippen on Ondine du Logis (Hurlevent de Breka x Super de Bourriere). Third was French rider Michel Hecart aboard the Dollar de la Pierre-son Pasha du Gue. The pair had four faults in the jump-off, but the fastest time of the day.
At the Atlantic Tour in Vilamoura it was Dutch rider Harrie Smolders who ended on top on the amazing stallion Emerald (Diamant de Semilly x Carthago). Harrie had one of five double clears in the two star Grand Prix, and was 0,78 seconds faster in the jump-off than Julien Gonin on the Cordalme-daughter Gina A that ended second. It was a good day for Eurohorse, as Axel Verlooy’s son Jos (Thunder van de Zuuthoeve x Azur de Paulstra) ended third on the fantastic Domino – he had the time of 44.16 in the jump-off.
