Geir Gulliksen to hospital

Wednesday, 29 February 2012

"Jimmy" in hospital after blood clots in both lungs were found. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson. After experiencing difficulties breathing during the World Cup show in Gothenburg this weekend, Geir 'Jimmy' Gulliksen went to his doctor for a check. Tuesday Gulliksen was send straight to hospital where a CT-scan was taken and blood clots in both lungs were discovered.

To the Norwegian website hestesport.no Gulliksen says; "I can ride again soon, but I have to make sure that nothing happens to me. A fall or impact could be unfortunate. But I hope to be back soon".

WOSJ wishes Geir a speedy recovery, and hope to see him back in action in no time!
