Geir is on fire in Scandinavium

Friday, 25 February 2011

Geir is on fire in Gothenburg! Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson. Norway’s Geir Gulliksen continued his fabulous form when winning the 1.40 speed class of Friday in Gothenburg. The class was a table C, and had 36 riders and horses chasing the clock.

The Scandinavian domination continued when “Jimmy” and Storm 16 (Grandeur x Nurprimus) rode a great, clear and fast round, to beat Gerfried Puck and Koala Du Prelet with the tiny margin of 0.01 seconds. It didn’t look as fast as it rode, but it turned out to be the best round of the day – and none of the remaining riders could catch him. Third place went to the winning combination of yesterday’s 1.40 speed class Rolf-Göran Bengtsson on Kiara La Silla – securing yet another price this weekend.
