Geneva's World Cup in pictures

Monday, 10 December 2012

Edwina Tops-Alexander can now add another watch to her collection. Together with Itot, Edwina was unbeatable in the World Cup Sunday. All photos by Jenny Abrahamsson.

The triple combination placed towards the short side and the huge wide screen, caused a lot of problems. Once again Zinedine and Ludger impressed. Unfotunately the third last fence got in the way for a jump-off. Janika Sprunger, as start number 14, showed the way to the jump-off after a fantastic round with Palloubet d'Halong. Corradina seems to be in  fantastic shape! We would have loved to see her in the jump-off but a silly mistake made that impossible.Marco Kutscher was lucky on the cow fence!A great clear for Rolf-Göran Bengtsson and Casall La Silla in the first round. It is hard not to love this horse. Carlo jumps every fence so easy, but he obviously spooks for  little green things on the ground... One unlucky time fault made the home crowd miss out on their idol Steve Guerdat in the jump-off. Hans-Dieter Dreher got a special invitation from the organizers and he made sure to thank them by being third in the World Cup!Denis Lynch with Abbervail van het Dingeshof in action in the jump-off.Edwina entered the prize giving in tears and couldn't stop saying nice things about her lovely little Itot du Chateau.
