German domination in Arezzo, Pozzallo and Vidauban

Jörg Naeve and Calado win in Arezzo. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.It was German domination in Sunday’s Grand Prix at the Toscana Tour in Italy, with the top three all being German riders. The top prize went to Jörg Naeve on the 10 year old Calado (Calando x Landgraf), while Christian Ahlmann was second on his girlfriend Judy-Ann Melchior’s usual ride Carry Z (Caretano Z x Carthago Z). Thomas Weinberg was third on Sandrhea-Star (Sandro x Ramiro). All three rode double clear rounds, and Ahlmann was 1.22 seconds behind Naeve.

The CSI3* Grand Prix of the Sicilia Jumping Tour in Pozzallo, Italy, was also won by a German rider. This time it was Tim Hoster who went all the way to the top riding Rastellie 2.

In Vidauban, France, the CSI 3* Grand Prix also saw a German rider on top; David Will on Don Cesar won the class with a double clear round – and he was 2.89 seconds faster than the runner-up.
