The atmosphere in Neumünster was electric with a great home win from Thomas Voss in the first 1.50 class today after two clear rounds. The course was not the easiest and the time was tight. As a result of this mistakes were made and out of 50 starts 12 riders produced a clear first round.
Voss was the fastest rider in the jump-off aboard Carinjo 9 (Cascavelle x Landgraf I). Voss was 0.58 seconds faster than Denis Lynch and Lantinus (Landkoenig x Landgraf I), while another German rider, Carsten-Otto Nagel was third riding Cazaro (Chambertin x Athlet Z).
The class had many good names such as Janne-Friederike Meyer, Pius Schwitzer and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson. Marcus Ehning and his relatively new ride Copin van de Broy (Darco x Brownboy) seems to be a good match, and the pair took the 10th place with one pole down in the jump-off. Jeroen Dubbeldam and BMC Utascha Sfn (Stakkato x Calypso) had one pole down in the first round, while Ludger Beerbaum and Chiara 222 (Contender x Coronado) also had to ad one time penalty to their four faults.
In the late 1.50 class it was once again a German win. This time it was Philipp Weishaot and Souvenir 29 (Stakkato x Lemon xx) that had the fastest time in the seven-horse jump-off. Also second place was German, with Janne-Friederike Meyer riding La Coco a ten year old stallion by Lycos. Jeroen Dubbeldam had a nice round with BMC Quality Time TN (Quantum x Cantus) that was good enough for third place, while yet another German Marcus Ehning was fourth with Cornado (Cornet Obolensky x Acobat).
