Gert Jan Bruggink won again! This time the Mercedes Benz Masters in Salzburg. Photo by © Nini Schäbel.Gert Jan Bruggink won the Mercedes Benz Masters at the CSI4* show in Salzburg on Friday. The Dutch rider was aboard the amazing chestnut mare Andrea (Marome x Voltaire), and was more than a second faster than runner-up Thomas Frühmann with The Sixth Sense(Zorro T x Grannus-Granit) in this 1,50 class. Romain Duguet and Otello du Soleil (Alligator Fontaine SF x Papillon Rouge) ended third ahead of John Whitaker on Lord of Arabia (Cassini II x Carry) and Stefan Eder with Chilli van Dijk NRW (Champion du Lys x Alcatraz).

Earlier in the day it was Beat Mändli with Callisto (Casall x Acorado) who ended up on top in Pappas Challenge. This was a 1,45 speed class and Beat was just slightly ahead of Dieter Köfler on Glock's Prince de Vaux (Flipper d'Elle x Super de Bourriere) with his 58,57 seconds against Dieter's 58,60 seconds. Then it was more than three seconds down to Paul Estermann with Naiade d'Auvers (Cumano x Grand Veneur). Gert Jan Bruggink ended fourth riding Vampire(Marome x Voltaire) and Steve Guerdat on Concetto Son (Concetto x Drosselklang II) ended fifth.
