Great start to Jumping Mechelen for Vrieling

Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.Jur Vrieling had a great start to the CSI5*-W Jumping Mechelen yesterday, as he opened the show with winning the Land Rover Masters and ended second in the 1.45 Zangersheide competition. The Dutch rider's partner in the Master class was VDL Zirocco Blue N.O.P (Mr. Blue x Voltaire), and the pair left behind them Simon Delestre in second and Olivier Philippaerts in third to take the home the car that was the first prize.

The 1.45 competition went to Joe Clee and Utamaro d'Ecaussines (Diamant de Semilly x Quidam de Revel), while Vrieling had to settle for second place aboard Zavall VDL (Casall x Emilion) over two seconds behind on the clock in the jump-off. Third was Edwin Smits on Copain du Perchet CH (Conteur x Ragazzo).
