Gregory Wathelet keeps winning

Saturday, 21 January 2012

Gregory Wathelet and Kronos d'Ouilly in Oslo in October. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson,Belgian rider Gregory Wathelet keeps on winning. In Amsterdam friday night, he took home the win in the 1.50 class aboard Kronos d’Ouilly (Uzelin x Graphit) after two clear rounds. Wathelet had Henk van de Pol and Warrant (Nummero Uno x Nimmerdor) right behind them in second place, while Maurice van Roosbroeck and Dylano (Cento lano x Athlet Z) came third. Together with Leon Thijssen, top four were the only double clears out of the 47 combinations that came to start. Twelve of these went on to the second round, two of them on one time fault.

The quite young talent Annelies Vorsselmans was number five riding Eurocommerce Cleveland (Quite Easy x Good Future), with one time penalty in the first round, and Gert-Jan Bruggink ended up in sixth place with the fastest time in the second round, but one fence fell.
