Greve, Ansems and Fernandes on top in the KWPN Paardendagen

Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.In the Netherlands the "KWPN Paardendagen" takes place this week, and the event hosts the Dutch Championship for young horses. Among the five year olds it was Day Dream (Zento x Heartbreaker) that did the best performance with Willem Greve in the saddle to take the gold medal. The silver went to Bert-Jan Zuidema with Duvolinus (Uvolinus x Levisto) and bronze to Rob Heijligers on Dairo (Wittinger VDL x Matterhorn).

Jack Ansems and Cidante (Lupicor x Grandeur) won the championship for the six year olds, while Marcel Willems with Calimera (Van Gogh x Perion) became vice-champion. Third place went to Wendy Veldman with Charmeur (Numero Uno x Emilion).

Among the seven year olds it was the Quasimodo Z-son Bronco M that won with Mario Wilson Fernandes in the saddle. The silver went to Dave Maarse with Bravo Liefhebber (Colino x Landon) and Marcel de Boer on Bugatti VDL (Silverstone x Indoctro) ended third.
