Steve Guerdat is certainly on the path of finding back to his winning ways. On Saturday he won the 1.45 class on the promising ten year old French-bred Nino des Buissonnets (Kannan x Narcos) after two clear rounds, and a time almost a second faster than the one that belonged to his fellow team rider Janika Sprunger on JL’s Komparse (Kolibri x Kronenkranich xx).

Rolf-Göran Bengtsson was third on the wonderful stallion Carusso LS La Silla (Montebello La Silla x Joost). Five of the 44 riders in the class produced double clears.

It was Carlo Motta Ribas who headed the class Best of Brazil after two clear rounds on Ronaldo (Ahorn x Stuyvesant). Ribas’ time in the second round was over a second faster than that of runner-up Alvaro de Miranda, who was riding Eric van der Vleuten’s former star AD Tomboy (Emilion x Ahorn). The win in the class that consisted of fourteen Brazilian riders made Ribas 13.000 Euro richer.
