Hannoveraner Championship for young horses

Tuesday, 09 August 2011

Eva Bitter won with Stanley, an offspring from her fantastic stallion Stakkato. All photos by Jenny Abrahamsson. The Hannoveraner Federation organized the Hannoveraner Championship for young horses in Verden last weekend. Amongst the five year olds, Stakkato (Spartan x Pygmalion) dominated with the offsprings Stanley, Stalina and Stalido which were top three. Both Stanley and Stalido were ridden by Eva Bitter who also rides Stakkato himself, while Stalina was ridden by Karl Brocks.

The top four six year olds were offsprings from two totally different stallions. The winner Cancellara ridden by Thomas Heineking, and Gilbert Böckmann's runner up Daily Sun are both after Contendro I (Contender x Reichsgraf). While number three and four - Emily and Joujou de Moscou, ridden by Thomas Heineking and Hilmar Meyer - are after Escudo I (Espri x Arkansas).
