Harrie Smolders and Exquis Powerfee took home Thursday's Big Tour in Doha

Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.Harrie Smolders and an Exquis Powerfee (Fedor x Erdball xx) very much on form, won the Big Tour at Al Shaqab in Doha Thursday after a speedy jump-off. The first round consisted of twelve beautiful fences in the huge arena at Al Shaqab, including no less than three combinations at 4a and b, 7a and b as well as 11a and b.

Ludger Beerbaum and Chaman (Baloubet du Rouet x I Love You) produced the first clear round, and after them 13 more managed to qualify for the jump-off.

The jump-off course proved to be difficult and only three combinations were able to finish on zero faults. In addition to Harrie and Exquis Powerfee the other clears came with Scott Brash and Hello Sanctos (Quasimodo vd Molendreef x Nabab de Reve) and today's Medium Tour winner Pius Schwizer, now riding Verdi III (Hors la Loi x Cantus).
