Tuesday, 12 April 2011

The French team will now also be coached by Henk Nooren. Photo by Christophe Bricot/FEI.Henk Nooren is the new coach of the French showjumping team. Nooren follows Laurent Elias, who is proceeding to a new job. Elias can look back at some great results, which includes a team silver medal from the WEG in Kentucky last autumn.

Nooren is already team trainer for the French riders, but will in the future also have the coach-role for the team. The contract between Nooren and the French federation runs to the Olympics in London in 2012.

Nooren’s goals for 2011 are to hold on to the Super League, and to produce good results at the European Championships in Madrid in September.
