Henrik von Eckermann on top in the Coupe de Genève

Henrik von Eckermann and Gotha FRH. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.Henrik von Eckermann won Saturday's Coupe de Genève on Gotha FRH (Goldfever x Prestige Pilot). It was a class consisting of combinations - the first fence was a single fence and then four combinations followed. The course ended with 6 a, b, c and d. Thirteen out of the 41 starting riders cleared the first round and qualified for the jump-off where Henrik was slightly faster than home rider Steve Guerdat with Concetto Son (Concetto x Drosselklang II).

Third place went to Finland and Anna-Julia Kontio with Fardon (Corland x Mezcalero) and fourth place to Gerco Schröder with Glock's Cognac Champblanc (Clearway).

Earlier in the day Claudia Gisler and Touchable (Navarone x Goodwill) ended on top in the speed class with a joker. The Swiss rider was followed by her compatriot Pius Schwizer with Chika's Way (Caretino x Lord) - who won Friday evening's speed class. Ludger Beerbaum was once again in the top three with Leonidas (Lenardo x Silvio I) ending third.
