Saturday, 13 December 2014

Henrik von Eckermann and Gotha FRH. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.Henrik von Eckermann won Saturday's Coupe de Genève on Gotha FRH (Goldfever x Prestige Pilot). It was a class consisting of combinations - the first fence was a single fence and then four combinations followed. The course ended with 6 a, b, c and d. Thirteen out of the 41 starting riders cleared the first round and qualified for the jump-off where Henrik was slightly faster than home rider Steve Guerdat with Concetto Son (Concetto x Drosselklang II).

Third place went to Finland and Anna-Julia Kontio with Fardon (Corland x Mezcalero) and fourth place to Gerco Schröder with Glock's Cognac Champblanc (Clearway).

Earlier in the day Claudia Gisler and Touchable (Navarone x Goodwill) ended on top in the speed class with a joker. The Swiss rider was followed by her compatriot Pius Schwizer with Chika's Way (Caretino x Lord) - who won Friday evening's speed class. Ludger Beerbaum was once again in the top three with Leonidas (Lenardo x Silvio I) ending third.
