Hickstead's Memorial Class in Pictures

Friday, 09 November 2012

Our guest tweeter Beatrice Ottaviani holds up the fantastic Hickstead scarf that was given as a prize in the biggest class on Friday. The scarf is made by the artist Florence Flameng together with Eric Lamaze. All photos by Jenny Abrahamsson.

The words "the one who could fly without wings and conquer without sword" is written on the scarf.

Hickstead was honored on the big screen before the class and we all couldn't help but cry a bit.
Edwina Tops-Alexander chose the green jacket for Verona.
Christina Liebherr did two great rounds with L.B. Callas Sitte Z.
Luca Moneta had every reason to be happy with his clear round!
Ludger Beerbaum and Chaman in action.
The oxer-oxer combination caused some problems and Michael Whitaker jumped out of it without rains. That's how to do it when you have some serious riding skills.
Pilar Cordon and Nuage Blue over the second last fence in the first round.
Marco Kutscher and Cornet's Cristallo had a great day at work. And look how shiny "Alien" is. Well done Terri!
William Funnell and Billy Angelo on their way to the last fence.
Pedro "The ringmaster" was happy as usual.
Penelope recieved a Hickstead scarf and put it on straight away at the prize giving.
