Highlights from CHI Geneva - Part One

Tuesday, 17 December 2013
As usual the Christmas feeling came to you at the CHI Geneva! All photos by World of Showjumping.
There were a lot of 'lasts' this weekend; it was the last time Jalisca Solier entered an international showjumping ring...
... and also the last time she brought her lobster with her to a show...
...it was Christian Ahlmann's grooms Emma's last show (although he did not ride, so Emma was out and about helping her friends out) and it was also one of Katta's last shows for Ludger Beerbaum...
...and also very sadly it was Angelica and Mic Mac du Tillard's last show together before the Swedish rider leaves for Ashford Farm.
On the other hand new combinations such as Eric Lamaze and Kigali P S were in action.
There were also riders that really put their mark on the show - such as Kent Farrington who won Friday's Credit Suisse Grand Prix and then the Champions Challenge.
Reed Kessler contributed to a good American show by recording her best result so far on Cos I Can ending third in the Champions Challenge.
Nothing to say on the atmosphere; the Swiss crowds were awesome.
And here's the man who makes them loose their voices; Steve Guerdat.
Another Swiss rider that impressed was Nadja Steiner.
It was not only the Americans Kent Farrington and Reed Kessler that did well - Brianne Goutal also had another good show and displayed great riding.
Tiffany Foster was another one who impressed with one fantastic round after another.
The most fun face of them all; the cow wall!
