Holger Wulschner’s Clausen retires

Wednesday, 11 January 2012

The 16 year old Clausen will be retired. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.Holger Wulschner’s former top horse Clausen (Calato x Corleone) will be retired. The 16 year old gelding is in good health, but as Wulschner now has a new star in Cavity G he has decided to spare Clausen from another tough season and give him a happy and healthy retirement instead.

Holger Wulschner has had great success with Clausen with numerous wins and placings at international Grand Prix level; in 2006 they won the Grand Prix in Neustadt-Dosse in and the prestigious "Goldenen Peitsche" in Nörten-Hardenberg, in 2007 they won the big Warsteiner Prize in Aachen. The two has also been successful on German Nations Cup teams on many occasions; in 2008 they were on the winning German team at Hickstead.
