Hugo Simon escapes bad fall without big injuries

Tuesday, 13 March 2012

Hugo Simon. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson. On Saturday the veteran Hugo Simon had a bad fall at the CSI3* event in Dortmund. His horse Ukinda took off on a far too big stride to an oxer, landing in the middle of it – causing Hugo to fall off with his head first. According to pferderevue.at Hugo suffered from a shoulder dislocation, but luckily for the 69 year old the shoulder was repositioned in the hospital and Hugo escaped without any bigger injuries. Hugo’s horse Ukinda was luckily uninjured after the incident.
