Hui Buh and Ahlmann unbeatable in the FEI World Breeding Jumping Championship final for 6 year olds

Sunday, 21 September 2014

Carola Wegener, Christian Ahlmann and Patrick Lemmen were on top of the podium. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson. It was quite a debut for Christian Ahlmann and Hui Buh in Sunday's final of the FEI World Breeding Jumping Championship for 6 year olds. Christian bought the gelding by Cornado I x Paramo K from Westfahlen two weeks ago, and made his show debut with the horse at the championship in Lanaken. After making a double clear round in the final, and finishing the jump-off track in 33,45 seconds no one could beat the couple that were flying the Zangersheide-colors with style.

The 16 year old Carola Wegener did her best to take over the pole position from Christian - ending her jump-off performance in 33,52 seconds with the Oldenburg bred Caspar Blue (Chacco-Blue x Freiherr), but had to settle for the silver medal. The bronze medal went to Patrick Lemmen with the KWPN gelding Dacantos (Up to Date x Cassini I).
