According to studforlife.com Roger Yves Bost’s former top horse Ideal de la Loge (Dollar du Murier x Joyau d'Or) will be retired from the sport at the age of 17. The website reports that the stallion will now dedicate himself to breeding only after a long and successful career. With Bosty, Ideal de la Loge had huge success – to mention some the pair won the GCT Grand Prix in Doha in 2011, the Grand Prix in Bordeaux in 2010, the Grand Prix in La Coruna in 2009, as well as being on the winning French Nations Cup team in Aachen in 2009.
In 2012 Olivier Robert started to ride the stallion, before Eduardo Blanco took over the reins earlier this year.
Ideal de la Loge will be stationed at Domaine de Laye to breed.
