Images - Another sneak peek on the facilities for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Normandy

Wednesday, 02 July 2014

There is a lot of space in the stable area. All photos by Jenny Abrahamsson.

The stables are placed on carpets. This might be a bit changed before the games starts.  The second warm-up is right behind the stabling area.  There are high railings all the way around the stables to keep the horses safe. It might look like a long hall way...  ... but it is a path in the middle so it should be able to have it nice and quite in each stable.  The wash place. Some open, some closed and the organizers are planning on putting up more until September. Also the lorries are nearby. The second warm-up is as big, if not bigger, than the first one.  It should be space enough to work the horses.  The show office. Here are the boxes for the vet-check upon arrival. So when the horses arrive at the show they will first stay here until the vets have given their permission to go to on.  There is also some place to hand walk the horses.  And an area to grass them.  This was it! Now we can just look forward to some fantastic sport.
