Images | Five year olds at the FEI World Breeding Jumping Championships

Friday, 26 September 2014

There were some exciting five year olds competing at the FEI World Breeding Jumping Championships in Lanaken last weekend. Here is Christian Ahlmann on the Air Jordan Z-clone Air Jordan Alpha Z. All photos by Jenny Abrahamsson.

This apple did not fall far from the tree: Levisto Z also had a clone competing -  Levisto Alpha Z with Judy-Ann Melchior in the saddle. Angelica Augustsson ended second in the final with the lovely Ard Ginger Pop, an Irish bred mare by Luidam x Cruising. The Danish couple of Anica Kristoffersen and Play Girl (Party Dance x Calato) ended fifth in the final. The Netherland's Anouk de Ruijter with the KWPN-bred Esme (Numero Uno x Lord).  Finland's Emilia Kerimaa with Eurvette O (Ard Vdl Douglas x Manhattan). Germany's Karl Brocks and the Hannoveraner gelding Quaid Good (Quaid x Graf Grannus) were placed 8th in the final. Marlon Zanotelli and Cool Clarimo (Clamiro x Concerto II) took the bronze medal. Robbert Ehrens with the stallion Chacco Me Biolley (Chacco Blue x Argentan). The winner of the championship: Maikel van Mierlo with the KWPN-gelding Earley (Harley VDL x Indorado).
