Images | Six year olds at the FEI World Breeding Jumping Championships

Saturday, 27 September 2014

Plenty of possible future super stars could be spotted among the six year olds competing at the FEI World Breeding Jumping Championships in Lanaken last weekend. Rodrigo Pessoa's stallion Darthus by Mr. Blue x Calvin Z was one of them. Photos by Jenny Abrahamsson.

Bertram Allen's Belgian bred Izzy By Picobello (Cicero Z x Capriano) is one to watch. Our guess is that there will be a lot of interest in Carola Wegener's silver medalist Caspar Blue. Remember the name: Hui Buh (Cornado I x Paramo) won the final with Christian Ahlmann in the saddle.  Erica Swartz showed the stallion Classico van de Helle, a Holsteiner son of Clearway x Coronado. Jennifer Fogh Pedersen with the beautiful grey Calango (Calvados Z x Goodtimes). Jerome Guery for sure has another star in the stallion Capo (Griseldi x Puccini), that ended fourth in the final. Joe Clee has produced another great horse in Ilusionata van't Meulenho, a mare by Lord Z x Carthago. Linn Backman's Hip Girl (Hip Hop x Carthago) attracted lots of attention after ending fifth. The mare was sold after the championships to Belgium. Malin Parmler and Chic Cheraa (Chacco-Blue x Heraldik xx) ended seventh. Manuel Fernandez Saro and the lovely Diablo Blanco (Chacco-Blue x Cento). Mathis Schwentker on the stallion Sandokan (Stakkato x Landor). Mischa Everse-van de Kraats on the eye-catcher Iceman de Muze (Erco van 't Roosakker x For Pleasure). Patrick Lemmen and Dacantos (Up to Date x Cassini I) won the bronze medal.
