Immediate success for Ashford Farm’s new stable jockey Pieter Clemens

After only ten days in the job as stable jockey at Ashford Farm in Belgium, Pieter Clemens ensured immediate success for his new boss Enda Carrol by winning the two star Grand Prix in Bondheiden. Riding the nine year old Anicmo (Amantus x Gracioso), the 19 year old Belgian rider put Yves Vanderhasselt on El Cassina vd Kojakhoeve (Cassini x Sheyenne De Baugy) behind him in second and Eiken Sato in third on Melody des Hayettes Z (Mozart des Hayettes).

Pieter Clemens is Ludo Philippaerts nephew, and moved on to work at Ashford Farm after working and riding for his uncle since July 2012.
