Irish win in Gijon

It was Ireland’s Dermot Lennnon on Loughview Lou Lou (Limmerick x Jack of Diamonds) who won the biggest class is Gijon on Thursday. A double clear and a time that was 3.98 seconds faster than that off Eric Lamaze on Sidoline van de Cenatur (Heartbreaker x Vondel) was good enough to take home the first prize.

Abdullah Al Sharbatly was third, also he double clear in the class consisting of 54 riders. The Irish rider was very pleased with the victory: "The class was fast and everything went well”, Lennon said. Furthermore, he felt that his mare “has been very strong as always in the last competitions”.

 

The couple of Jesús Garmendia and Perle Condeene won again when they took home the third class of the Gijón CSI. Karim El Zoghby was second and Emanuele Gaudiano third.
