It's all about stallions - FEI Sires of the World in images!

Saturday, 29 September 2012

The fantastic Hunter's Scendix looked a bit shy at the prize giving where he looked at the crowds between the legs of the riders on the podium. All photos by Jenny Abrahamsson.

The best three riders got a globus. We guess that most stallion owners would like to have one of these at home. Dirk Demeersman was the fastest one in the jump-off, but as always you need to be clear as well. Dirk ended fourth.Abdel Said with Casper flying over the fences. In the end of the class the rain was pouring down and Guido Klatte aboard Armitage was one of the riders that became wet!Angelique Hoorn with VDL Zapatero. A match made in heaven- Judy-Ann Melchior and Levisto Z. Jur Vrieling with VDL Wittinger. He really looks like his father - runner-up Call me number one by Cornet Obolensky. Nicola Philippaerts with Quintender was the first one to clear the course. Niels Bruynseels on Castelino van de Helle. Olivier Philippaets with the lovely Cabrio van de Heffinck. It was not Franz-Josef Dahlmann's day today. He had the last one down with one horse and the second last with another after being clear until then. With no ladies distracting the guys it was a very quite pricegiving. Here third placed Carthino Z.
