"It was fantastic to win here," said a happy Steve after the Grand Prix. Steve and Nino des Buissonnets will now do a smaller show in Belgium in two weeks, and Steve hopes that they will keep their good form for the World Equestrian Games.
Steve praised the show in Münster: "Our sport is more and more about money, and the emotions and the connection to the world is getting lost. But here in Münster it is all different and it is one of the few shows that is organized with the heart, and you can feel that. The sport is in focus and not just the big numbers. I support these kind of shows with 200 %, and I really want to thank and congratulate the organizers of these kind of shows."
Holger Wulschner is in the lead of the DKB Riders Tour after being second in today's Grand Prix: "I can just agree with Steve because this is really a show with a lot of heart".
Lucy Davis who was third said: "I'm very happy with today's class. It was a very good course and my horse jumped super as usual. In the jump-off I tried to bee smooth and fast and I think we achieved our goal, I just wasn't fast enough"
Lucy Davis has been in Germany for five years now - training with Markus Beerbaum and Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum. "I go to University in California to study architecture so I spend the winter in Wellington or somewhere in the US and then as soon as the school is finished I go to Europe."
