John Whitaker took home the CSI4* Munich Grand Prix riding Argento (Arko x Gasper). With his 33,32 seconds in the jump-off, he was slightly faster than Audrey Coulter with her new ride Acorte (Acorado x Stakkato) at 33,64 seconds. Acorte has previously been seen under the German rider Rolf Moormann.
The first round consisted of 12 fences and 15 jumps, with a combination oxer - vertical as 9a-b and a triple combination vertical one stride to an oxer and then two strides to a vertical as number 7a-b-c. With a clear round and 35,03 seconds Denis Nielsen took third place with Come Undone (Clinton I x Grandeur), and Gert-Jan Bruggink ended fourth on Primeval Dejavu (Heartbreaker x Ramiro) in 35,05 seconds.
