Monday, 27 December 2010

Christian Ahlmann and Taloubet Z - here in Helsinki. Photo by Tapio Maenpaa/FEI. Jumping Mechelen is on between Christmas and New Years Eve, and the first international class of the show was won on Monday by Gregory Wathelet on Sea Coast Cortes C (Randel Z x Darco).

Tuesday featured two international classes. The 140 speed class was won by Spanish rider Manuel Anon Suarez aboard the nine year old Kannan-stallion Baldo DS. Olivier and Nicola Philippaerts followed as second and third. The biggest class of the day was set at 150, and Germany’s in-form rider Christian Ahlmann was victorious on the stallion Taloubet Z. Runner-up was Roger-Yves Bost on Nikyta D’Elle, while Pilar Cordon on Nuage Blue was third.
