Katharina Offel and Cathleen 28 (Cordobes I x Ramiro’s Son) took home the win in Sunday morning’s Prix de la Ville de Paris at Saut Hermès. Being the Grand Prix winners from last year’s event here, the two managed to yet again bring home a victory from the Grand Palais. The Ukrainian rider has been riding great the entire weekend, and today she was unbeatable around the two phased 1.50 track - none of the super fast riders coming after her could catch up. Coming in as number 21 out of 32 riders, Kathi did a phenomenal second phase to cross the finish line on 26.41.
Just like on Friday, the track was divided into two – and the second part from fence eight to thirteen was against the clock with all riders moving on regardless of picking up faults in the first phase. Closest to Kathi came the super fast US rider Kent Farrington on Blue Angel (Luidam x Ascendant), who with the time of 26.60 seconds took an early lead. Denis Lynch, who was second to go on Lantinus (Landkönig x Argentinus), stayed in the top three from beginning to end and was third.
