Kellemoi de Pepita sold to Quatar

Tuesday, 20 December 2011

Michel Robert and Kellemoi de Pepita have been a strong team. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson/worldofshowjumping.comThe French team and Michel Robert have lost one of their top horses Kellemoi de Pepita (Voltaire x Jalme des Mesnuls) to Quatar. The soon to be fourteen year old mare has been very successful under Michel Robert, and the two has been a part of several Nations Cup teams for France this year. In 2008 they won the Top Ten final, in 2009 the Global Champions Tour final in Doha, Quatar and they were on the French silver team from the Europeans in Madrid.

The pair recently competed at their last show  in Geneva where they ended up as number seven in the World Cup qualifier. Robert will now have to try and make a championship horse out of one of his other horses. At the time he has the thirteen year old gelding Kaloe des Perrieres (Quat'Sous x Benroy) and his quite new ride Nenuphar'Jac (Cumano x Pidayack), previously ridden by Penelope Leprevost, to try and make it to the Olympics next year.
