It was Kyle King and the Holsteiner stallion Capone I (Contender x Ladalco) who won Sunday's Grand Prix at Spruce Meadows. King rode two clear rounds and with the time 45.85 in the jump-off he managed to push the remarkable team Eric Lamaze and Hickstead (Hamlet x Ekstein) down to a second place with the time 46.36. It was McLain Ward and the wonderful grey gelding Antares (Araconit x Cento) who had the fastest time in the jump-off at 43.40, but with four faults they ended up fourth.
