In the Gran Premio Ciutat de Barcelona Copa SEAT, which was a 1.55 – 1.60 m class, Eric Lamaze took home the win with Atlete Van't Heike.

It was a class with a lot of faults and among the 44 riders that started, eleven went on to the second round. Only three out of these were clear in the first round, two had time faults and the rest had four faults. The faults continued coming in the second round and only three riders managed to ride clear here as well, but two of them brought four faults with them from the first round. Eric Lamaze turned out to be the only one who was double clear in today’s evening class.

Second placed was Rutherford Latham on Nectar Du Plessis who finished both rounds with two faults; one time fault in each round. Carlos Ribas on Ronaldo was the fastest one in the jump-off with his 48.93 seconds, compared to Lamaze's 55.71 second, but Carlos had four faults with him from the first round and ended up in third position.
