Laura Renwick lands a win in Treffen

Saturday, 01 February 2014

On the way to victory in Treffen: Laura Renwick and Oz de Breve. Photo by © Michael Rzepa. The first Longines world ranking class in Treffen was jumped on Friday afternoon, and it was Great Britain’s Laura Renwick that went to the top riding Oz de Breve (Dollar du Murier x Grand Veneur). The 1.50 class with a winning round had 49 riders in it, and 17 of them made it to the chase against the clock after riding a first clear round. Laura had the advantage of being last to go in the winning round, and this she used wisely – riding a perfect round pushing Jur Vrieling down to second on Flashdance V. Kalevallei (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Gottwald) shaving off 0.17 seconds on the Dutch rider’s time. Third was Max Kuhner on the lovely Clintop (Clinton x Calvaro).
