Lauren Hough won the biggest class in La Coruña today, riding Ohlala (Orlando x Cardento) to victory in the Warsteiner Trophy. The 1.50 class had 49 riders in it, and fastest of them all was Hough and the 9 year old Swedish bred mare with a clear round at 55.94 seconds. German national champion Daniel Deusser was second stopping the clock in 56.24 with his Stephex Stables’ Norlan des Etisses (Quidam de Revel x Uriel) at 56.24 seconds. Third went to Pieter Devos and Dream of India Greenfield (Gem of India x Night and Day) who crossed the finish line on 57.13 seconds.
The 1.45 class went to home rider Sergio Alvarez Moya and Abab van het Molenhof (Nabab de Reve x Calypso I). The Spanish rider was double clear with a time of 40.02 seconds in the jump-off, while Eric Lamze on Christine (Cassini x Unknown) was second with a time of 42 seconds. In third came Daniel Bluman riding Apardi (Corland x Kannan).
Earlier in the day Marina Frutuoso de Melo and Andamio 241 (Amantus x Ferragamus) won the Móstoles Industrial Trophy with a double clear round and a time of 36.46 seconds. Second in this 1.35 class was Luis Sabino Gonçalves with Ocean de Brekka (Dollar du Murier x Quat’ Sous) and third Pieter Devos on Darca Van der VDG Consult (Turbo Van ´t Gestelhof x Quinten V).
