Leon Thijssen won the FEI World Cup in Lezno. Photo by foto Malgorzata Frysztak.Leon Thijssen contributed to even more Dutch success when winning the CSI3* FEI World Cup in Lezno, Poland today. Riding Hearthago (Heartbreaker x Carthago Z), Thijssen went to the top in the class that counted 37 riders and horses. In second came Czech rider Ales Opatrny on Acovaro (Acodetto I x Calvaro). Like Thijssen he was double clear, although three seconds behind on the clock in the jump-off. Third place went to home rider Piotr Morsztyn on Osadkowski Van Halen (Hors La Loi II x Cavalier) who had the third and last double clear of the day.
