Long recovery for Cameron Hanley

Wednesday, 11 January 2012

Cameron Hanley was on the winning team in the Nations Cup in Falsterbo in 2009. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson. After an unfortunate accident while playing with his kids in the early summer of 2011, the Irish rider Cameron Hanley, hurt his leg and was in need of surgery. It was a normal surgery that should have been easy, but complications took place which lead to a critical condition for Cameron and several more surgeries.

"I am at home recovering. The doctors don´t know how long or if ever before I ride again so it looks like this year at least I´ll be concentrating on coaching and training", Cameron told WoSJ yesterday, more than half a year after the accident.
