Luciana Diniz pulls out from participation at the World Equestrian Games

Thursday, 21 August 2014

Luciana Diniz will not ride in Normandy. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.According to equisport.pt Luciana Diniz has decided to pull out from competing at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. Diniz was on the long list for the Games with no less than five horses – Fit For Fun 13, Lacontino, Lennox, Upper Star and Winningmood – but has opted not to ride any of them in Normandy.

Both Lennox and Winningmood returned to the international rings recently after being out with injuries, while Fit For Fun 13, Lacontino and Upper Star have competed during the summer months. The three latter horses have no championship experience with Diniz, while Lennox jumped at the Olympic Games in 2012 and Winningmood at three European Championships - in 2009, 2011 and 2013.
