Martin Fuchs and PSG Future (Cashandcarry x Lorentin I) continued their winning streak in Geneva on Saturday. Fresh from their Grand Prix win in Paris the pair took over the lead very early on in the Credit Suisse Geneva Classic and kept it throughout the 52 rider class. Since this was the very last chance for the riders to qualify for tomorrow's Rolex Grand Prix a lot of them chased Martin's time, and the class ended as a real battle.
Two riders managed to be faster than Martin - Kent Farrington on Blue Angel (Luidam x Ascendant) was as much as two seconds quicker while Henrik von Eckermann riding For Sale (For Pleasure x Cassini I) crossed the finish line with one second up to Martin. But with four faults for both of them they had to settle for rank 10 and 11.
Luciana Diniz with Lady Lindenhof (Grand Chef Bleus Sf x Type d'Elle) was the one being closest after a clear round, so she ended second while Kaya Lüthi with Pret A Tout (Hiram Chambertin x Stew Boy) took the third place. Roger Yves Bost with the high jumping Pegase Du Murier (Adelfos Sesf x Le Tot de Semilly) ended fourth and Gregory Wathelet with Oh d'Eole (Kannan x Papillon Rouge) ended fifth.
