Martin Fuchs was the last rider to go in the final and as he already has European silver and bronze medals, only the gold medal was missing for the talented rider. With a fantastic last round with the really well jumping Principal Martin made sure to finally get the gold. "I think my horse was just the best one here. I could really trust his jumping capacity. My goal was to take a medal at this Europeans and that it finally was a gold medal really makes me happy!" said Martin Fuchs after the win.

Petronella Andersson with Nosco de Blondel took the silver medal and bronze went to Maelle Martin with Nelson du Biolay.
