Mercedes German Master in Stuttgart in images

Monday, 24 November 2014

Ludger Beerbaum went to the top of the Mercedes German Master class in Stuttgart for the fourth time in his career - this time riding Chaman. All photos by Jenny Abrahamsson.

There were only two double clear rounds in the class, the second one came from Hans-Dieter Dreher and Embassy II. The pair produced a spectacular jump-off that looked almost impossible to beat, but in the end the two had to settle for second place. Steve Guerdat was very fast in the jump-off, acrually faster than Hansi, but a rail down pushed him down to third on Concetto Son. Shane Breen had one down on the lovely Farao van't Vennehof in the first round.  Bertram Allen and the only eight year old Belmonde was the youngest pair in the prestigious class, and finished fifth. Chaman has reached 15 years old, but shows no signs of his age. Doda de Miranada and AD Uutje ready to go. Marco Kutscher and Cornet's Cristallo - aka Alien - ended fourth after one rail down in the jump-off. Patrice Delaveau and Carinjo HDC were also in action in the Master class, ending 7th. Steve Guerdat and Concetto Son. Closing in on the beautiful Farao van't Vennehof. The stunning Embassy II. Ludger and Chaman at the in-gate.
